The Video Format is fine

I was changing my strings and noticed my bridge is slotted, but I also have slotted bridge pins. I never noticed this before, and I wonder if the Luthier I brought it to had done it when I paid him for a set-up when the guitar was new. So I slotted the string through the bridge slots and the pin slots *face palm* I wonder if I can adjust it without using new strings.

Nice stuff. Gnarly arm burn? Not so nice.

They way I see it is the CNC is just another tool, just like a bandsaw or drum sander. If you get right down to it, a claim could be made that an instrument isn't handmade if any power tool is used.

Like the content, sometimes keeping it simple helps us new to Luthier not feel overwhelmed. I have learned allot watching and subscribing to you channel.

How long is your backlog for having a guitar built?

Personally this is more the type of stuff I watch the production can be nice but I feel the just doing is best. I don't build just live Vicarious though others.

I'm cool with the back to the roots style videos. One of my favorites was the Talisker Storm video. I even tracked down a bottle...not a big fan of it. It was good, but not my jam. lol

Seeing major steps of different models and woods being built is great, the process and thoughts behind the process is great, and regularity is very important, we’ve all seen shows/channels fade for different reasons, you’ve already put lots of instructional videos out…but I do love watching the step by step progress of a single build

Short format is good for quick updates. I thought for sure the "retail guitar" was going to be an announcement of a Driftwood acoustic model available for $999! Oh well :(

I like the format. It's like Ted Woodford's approach. Don't do tutorials, just let us look over your shoulder while you do what you do.

This format is 100% fine. You’re on UA-cam. The “you” in “UA-cam” strongly implies amateur production values. It doesn’t need to be made into “ProTube” to get views or be engaging and worthwhile. That’s the YOU part. We are here for that part.
